AURI Wicklow volunteer team consists of Ukrainians who came to Ireland after the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
We united to support each other in the most difficult times for us Ukrainians. But for the sake of a common goal – to go to victory!
County Wicklow Partnership, Wicklow Lions Club and Rotary Club, St. Patrick’s Church in Wicklow help us fruitfully in this way.
During the year, our team was replenished with 12 volunteers. For our little Ukrainians, we opened a Ukrainian school, where schoolchildren support their studies according to the Ukrainian program. We help with the integration of Ukrainians into Irish society: we organize excursions and arrange joint events, children’s and adult master classes, and the “Palyanytsia” centre itself is a centre of communication and support for Ukrainians from all over the Wicklow district.
If you have the desire to join our community in Wicklow and make efforts to strengthen our team – Welcome!
