Dear Ukrainians in Ireland! A terrible date is approaching us very quickly – one year of resistance and pain, one year of courage and wandering, one year of unity and immeasurable losses.
This is the YEAR of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in a war that has been going on for 9 years.
We thank everyone who supports Ukraine at this most dramatic moment in its recent history. Thank you for all your donations, and participation in rallies, promotions, and flash mobs.
The greater our unity, the faster Ukraine’s victory will be. Only together we are POWER. Each of us can become a part of history – the history of the victory of Ukraine and the world over evil.
The Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland (AURI) joins the action of the World Congress of Ukrainians, and appeals to you, Ukrainian communities, to support Ukraine and our people 24 hours a day! We are asking you to join the actions regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine to remind the world with one voice that the war is still going on, and that we are still in dire need of help for one victory for all of us.
How can you do it?
Organization and holding of one or more of the proposed actions in your community:
Joining the World Candlelight Walk dedicated to February 24 in your community;
A request to local authorities to illuminate central buildings and landmarks in blue-yellow colours during the week of February 19-26;
Invitation to speeches by representatives of local authorities;
Interaction with churches – joint prayers. Upon request, a visit of Ukrainian priests to your community is possible;
Demonstration of Ukrainian symbols – use this opportunity to place Ukrainian flags on houses, offices, and cars.
To combine our efforts into one project, you need to take photos and videos of your events and send them to [email protected].
If you have already planned the event and want even more people to know about it – write down the date, time and place at this WCU link https://cutt.ly/t9GeUko.
