The Tara Quartet will perform a charity concert in support of Ukraine. All funds will go to Medical Help Ukraine, a project created by AURI, which actively helps Ukrainian hospitals.
The Tara Quartet (violins by Anne-Marie Russell and Judith Curtis, viola by Margaret Clark and cello by Owlin von Kitzell) is a vibrant group of two professionals and two amateur musicians. They will perform three string quartets: Joseph Haydn opus 20 № 4 in D major Ludwig van Beethoven opus 95 in F minor and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdi Opus 13 in A major
The venue, St. Mary’s Church in Ireland, Navan has great acoustics and is located in the center of Navan between the city car park and the Newgrange Hotel. Many thanks to Canon John Clark for inviting such wonderful performers to play in his beautiful church.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 28, at 7.30 pm. Tickets will be available at the entrance for 10, 20 and 30 euros with free seats.
All donations will go to Medical Help Ukraine, a charity founded by Ukrainian doctors who are members of the Association of Ukrainians in Ireland (AURI) and work in Ireland, providing direct support to Ukrainian hospitals in combat zones and throughout Ukraine.
