Football Ukraine. The Ukraine-Ireland match took place in Dublin

The football match between the national teams of Ukraine and Ireland took place on June 8 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Ukraine won 1-0.
With the support of the Football Association of Ireland, the Ukrainian community received 2,000 free tickets for refugees. Fans thanked with strong support of the Ukrainian team and chanted “Thank you Ireland”.
The manager of the Ukraine national football team Oleksandr Petrakov also thanked Ireland for helping our compatriots at the post-match press conference :
“It simply came to our notice then. The people you received here have come. Thank you Ireland for sheltering our women and children. What they were happy about. Everyone wants to go home, but now they can’t. If we made them happy, these 3.5 thousand of our citizens, we are happy.”
